Wiltshire Treehouse are a fantastic charity working with children who have experienced bereavement - they have collated some information on ways to help children to not only manage their grief and to handle lockdown. There are some hints and tips for the whole family here.

Wiltshire Treehouse Easter Trail – Saturday 30th March, Swindon

We will be holding our annual Easter Trail again this year in Town Gardens, Old Town. The event is a great excuse to get the family out in the fresh air and we love seeing lots of excited little faces as they claim their Easter prizes.

We expect this year to be popular and advise booking online in advance to avoid disappointment at the reduced cost of £3.50 per participant (£4.00 on the day). For further information and to book your place/s please see https://www.wiltshiretreehouse.org.uk/fundraising/easter-trail-2024.

NEW Wiltshire bereavement programmes

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding 2 further bereavement programmes in the Trowbridge area this year. This programme is for bereaved children in school years 6 – 11. For more information please visit Wilts NEST leaflet email version.pdf (wiltshiretreehouse.org.uk)

Swindon bereavement programmes

Our successful bereavement programmes have been running in Swindon for nearly 10 years. These programmes are suitable for children in the 6 – 18yr old age bracket. To find out more, including how to make a referral, please visit

Come & join the Wiltshire Treehouse Team!

Wiltshire Treehouse could not continue supporting those who need us without our amazing volunteers.

We currently have vacancies for group volunteers and also on our Board of Trustees, to help support the charity as we continue to grow and expand our in-person support services into the wider Wiltshire area. No bereavement experience necessary as training will be provided. To learn more and for full role descriptions visit https://www.wiltshiretreehouse.org.uk/join-us/volunteer-opportunities.

And lastly… some very exciting news!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Wiltshire Treehouse has been named ‘Charity of the Year’ at the 2024 Wiltshire Life Awards! This is a massive achievement and we truly could not have done it without the help of all of our team and supporters, who continue to dedicate their time, energy and passion to supporting grieving families. (Photo of a very excited Sarah just after she had been up on stage)!
