Junior Duke Awards - 2022 to 2023

March 2023

The children have been working incredibly hard at home to complete their Challenges. It's been wonderful to see the different choices they have made to complete the same challenge!

We are over half way through this year's Junior Duke Award and we are looking forward to continuing to see the wonderful work all the children are doing.

On the right you can see some of the work that has been completed!

October 2022

We are so looking forward to beginning the Junior Duke Award journey when we return to school after the October half term. We have received the Booklets for the children and they will be handed out on 31st October and 1st November. (For those attending Morfa Bay), they will be kept safe until they return on 7th November).

We have received our certification which you can see to the side.

September 2022

We are very pleased to announce that from September 2022 we will be encouraging children to take part in The Junior Duke Awards.

In a busy world it's too easy to do everything for our children, but when should they begin to take responsibility for themselves?! The Junior Duke Awards aims to encourage and help primary school aged children to develop life skills.

There is more information on their website which can be found here: https://juniorduke.com/

We have also issued a letter to all parents which can be found here: Junior Duke Award

The children will also be shown the following video's during an assembly explaining what the plans are:
